Are you ready to impact a better future? A leading business in the Facilities Management industry is hiring a Mechanical Engineer in Staffordshire. Your role will be vital in ensuring safe, compliant operations in a secure establishment.

The Role

As the Mechanical Engineer, you’ll:

• Carry out routine mechanical engineering work, planned preventative maintenance, repairs, and testing of gas systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete defect rectification on plant and equipment across the site.
• Install new mechanical plant and equipment in line with specifications and standards.
• Ensure maintenance schedules and compliance records are kept up to date.
• Support a multi-skilled facilities management team, including escorting contractors when required.


You

To be successful in the role of Mechanical Engineer, you’ll bring:

• A recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship or equivalent trade-based qualification.
• Gas Safe registration with experience in both commercial and domestic systems desirable.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, customer-focused approach.
• A flexible, proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
