Our client, a reputable and well-established family-run independent service centre in Croydon, is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their friendly team.

Duties of a Service Advisor:

• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the vehicle servicing process, ensuring a positive experience for clients
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, liaising with technicians and management to relay customer requirements and vehicle updates
• Manage workshop bookings, coordinate schedules, and monitor vehicle progress to meet deadlines
• Handle customer enquiries, requests, and concerns professionally and efficiently
• Accurately process payments, prepare invoices for services and parts, and ensure documentation is complete
• Maintain clear communication with customers to promote satisfaction and long-term retention
• Support the smooth operation of all service-related activities and contribute to team goals

Requirements of a Service Advisor:

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry, ideally at a senior or equivalent level
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a professional demeanour
• Strong customer service ethos and a positive, proactive attitude
• Ability to work effectively within a team and as the main point of contact for clients
• Knowledge of automotive workshop processes, including booking systems and invoicing
• Stable work history in the motor trade with references to support
